Lisa Blunt Rochester Fails to Honor 13 American Service Members Killed in Action
Yesterday, 326 members of Congress Co-Sponsored H.R. 5142 passed by Congress to posthumously award the Congressional Gold Medal to the 13 US Service members that were killed in a bomb blast outside Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan.
These American service members should not have been killed. Thirteen families have suffered the pain of losing a loved one due to the careless actions of the Joe Biden regime. These service members were put in an indefensible position because of this failed retreat, yet they did their duty and paid the ultimate sacrifice.
Our Congresswoman, Democrat Lisa Blunt Rochester chose partisan politics over recognition of this sacrifice, she chose not to support this honor. Is this the type of Representative you want in Congress? We think not. It is a stain for our state. It is time to choose a member of the House who will stand up for our principles of recognition of the sacrifice our service members have committed themselves to defend our country. It is time for Lisa Blunt Rochester to go.
